LinkedIn Text Formatter - bold, italic, lists, live preview.
LinkedIn has no formatting buttons for posts. Write or paste your post here, select the words you want to stand out, and see the result in a LinkedIn feed preview as you type. Then copy it straight into LinkedIn.
Done formatting? Let the Post Agent write the next one.
This tool makes a post you wrote look right. Commentify's Post Agent writes the posts: it learns your voice from your past LinkedIn posts, drafts 3 to 5 a week with an image for each, and schedules them. You review, edit or let it publish.

Format a LinkedIn post in four steps
- 01
Paste or write your post
Type in the editor or paste a draft from anywhere. Posts you send here from the post generator open automatically.
- 02
Select words and pick a style
Press B, I, BI, U, S or M to style the selection. Use the list buttons to turn lines into bullets or numbered steps.
- 03
Check the preview
The preview shows the post as it appears in the LinkedIn feed and where "...more" cuts it. Switch between mobile and desktop.
- 04
Copy it into LinkedIn
Press Copy post and paste into a new LinkedIn post. The styling comes with it.
How bold and italic text works on LinkedIn
Unicode, the standard every device uses to display text, includes full alphabets that look bold, italic, monospaced or handwritten. They were made for maths, but they display anywhere text does. When you press B, the formatter swaps each letter for its bold look-alike. Punctuation, emoji and accented letters stay as they are.
Because it is still text, the styling survives copy and paste and shows the same way for every reader. The flip side is that software sees different characters, which is why screen readers and LinkedIn search can trip over it.
Formatting that helps people read
- ✓Bold one phrase per paragraph at most. If everything is bold, nothing is.
- ✓Keep your hook plain or lightly styled. It has to show in full before "...more": about 140 characters on a phone.
- ✓Use lists for steps and options. They're easier to scan than a paragraph.
- ✓Leave a blank line between paragraphs. White space does more for readability than any font.
- ✓Don't style hashtags or names you want people to find. Search only matches plain letters.
